About this place
At Daiki-Suisan Kaitenzushi Keihan Mall Kyobashi, you can shape your meal one plate at a time, from lean tuna to fatty tuna. The menu ranges from tuna, gizzard shad, egg and inari sushi with assorted fillings to medium-fatty and fatty bluefin tuna, with prices to match. You might pick a few affordable plates, or opt for yellowtail that has been ikejime-prepared or lean bluefin tuna. From there, you can add fatty tuna, salmon roe or snow crab gunkan sushi, tailoring your meal to your appetite and budget.
One reported order combined five cuts and styles of tuna: fatty, medium-fatty and lean bluefin tuna, albacore and minced tuna with spring onion. It offers a useful starting point if you want to focus on tuna. Another diner ordered tuna, marinated lean bluefin tuna, large prawns and pike conger with plum sauce, along with red miso soup and kitsune udon. Red miso soup is on the menu, and one diner noted that theirs included fish scraps. It’s an easy choice if you’d like soup with your sushi.
Drinks include beer and sake, as well as the “Tenka no Daidokoro” tasting set, which lets you sample junmai ginjo, tokubetsu junmai and tokubetsu honjozo sake in 60 ml pours. It’s a good option if you’d like to compare the three styles, or take your time choosing sake to go with your sushi. The restaurant is on the 5 floor of Keihan Mall’s Hotel Building and offers dine-in, takeaway and collection at the shop. It can also suit a solo meal, whether you’re stopping for lunch between errands or coming in for dinner; you can choose how much to eat at your own pace.
